This has to due with what is commonly referred to as the rapture.
There are several views as to when Jesus Christ will return in the clouds
from Heaven to "snatch away" His own from this world. The pre-tribulational
view is that it is the next event on God's prophetic time table and will occur
just prior to the seven year tribulation period; prior to the coming of the
Anti-Christ, mark of the beast, etc. Some others believe that it will occur
in the middle of the tribulation period and a few believe at the end.
