Our church is Baptist in theology but is not a part of a denomination.
We fellowship with any church of like faith and we are not limited in
our fellowship to only churches and believers of a certain closed group.
This also means we are self-governing in that the business of our church
is conducted by its members and those it designates. There are no outside
religious hierarchies that can over rule the decisions of the local
congregation. The financial matters of the church are handled within the
church. This does not mean that someone from outside of the congregation
cannot be brought in for the purpose of auditing the books. It is that
the money that comes into Ambassador Baptist Church is not sent away in
whole or in part to a denominational headquarters where it may or may not
be used to support causes we agree with.
